FAQs

How is this program different than the one last year?

Last year’s webinar brought together a wide variety of golf science and swing coaching experts to discuss the underlying concepts of the Ultimate Golf Lesson and how “fundamentals” are very much golfer specific. It explained why you have to pick and choose the swing elements that work best for your body and your ability to move. We’ll cover some of that ground here too, but the main thrust of the workshop is to show the concepts in action via live lessons and to show coaches and players the practical application of the information. You’ll see how to translate information into specific improvement for you and for your students.

If I miss a session can I watch a recording?

YES! Every session will be recorded, and will be available after it is presented live. As a course attendee, you will have access to the videos for one month after the last session.

Can I ask questions?

There are opportunities each day to ask questions and to interact with the presenters. The final session is also all Q & A— please think about what you hear and help us all get better by asking great questions! We want you to use the information and to be able to follow along, so if there’s something confusing, please either ask it in the session or send it to us at Ultimategolflesson@gmail.com.

Does shifting to the right make you hit it further?

For some people yes, and for some no! Watch the GRF sessions to maximize club speed for all styles.

What if I don’t like the swing style that I test for?

Golfers are better off swinging according to their style. Power and face stability are both better swinging your swing. Surgeons love it when you try to swing the way you would “prefer” to swing. Doctors’ offices are full of golfers who like to choose their style.

Does everyone have to hit up on their driver?

Brooks Koepka, Sergio Garcia and Cam Champ amongst others hit down. The PGA Tour average attack angle is one degree down. Depending on your grip style you, will have different angles of attack from five degrees up to five degrees down. If you mismatch, contact, and face control will be compromised!

But wait, isn't everything I need to know in (insert book here) ?

If you think Ben Hogan’s Five Lessons or Homer Kelley’s Golfing Machine (or the Bible or a full set of Encylopaedia Brittanica) has all the definitive answers and there’s no need for research, an open mind and a willingness to improve, let us know and we’ll give you a full refund!

How do I get my PGA points ?

This time around we are going to put the test online so that the results will be immediately available and then sent to the PGA to confirm the result.
